This class we looked at a couple of submissions from recent events. The first was a Von Flue choke, although the kids these days are calling it a Von Preux, in honour of OSP. He hit this choke on the weekend again. It's a great counter to a guillotine that your opponent has unwisely held on to for too long.
Next we talked about the mounted guillotine, the technique Gordon Ryan used to finish Keenan at ADCC on the weekend. It is a great way to leverage your hips into the choke and get the finish single handed if need be.
